Ernie Arroyo was born in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Lorain, OH, about 20 miles west of Cleveland. Ernie showed and interest in music from an early age and was part of both the church choir and the high school choir growing up. He also played played upright bass and drums all through school. 

Throughout the 90's Ernie played bass guitar in multiple blues and rock bands around the Cleveland area. He was also a part of an original band named Two Fingers Shy. In 2005 Ernie joined a local country band named Lawless and with that band had the pleasure of opening up for many national acts including Gary Allan, Miranda Lambert, and Dierks Bentley to name a few. 

In January of 2009 Ernie moved to Nashville, TN where he continues to play bass in multiple bands. During his time in Nashville Ernie has been lucky enough to play shows will artist Steve Holy and Josh Gracin who both have had number one hits on the country charts at one time. In 2020 Ernie finished up his music production certificate from Nashville State Community College. Ernie continues to make his living playing bass in downtown Nashville and writing songs for film and television. 

Ernie has been writing songs in many different styles since the 90's. He released his first CD titled "Havoc In Wonderland" in 1999. In 2008 Ernie finished recording his second CD titled "Remnants of Isadore" which found it's way onto many TV shows over the years including American Pickers and The Voice. In 2020 Ernie released his third CD titled "Hearing Voices" but this time, rather than singing all the songs himself, he hired some pretty amazing singers that live in Nashville to sing his songs.
